Samir Adams Ghosh
Hi! I mentor and advise technology product startups and founders. Typically, I assist in three main areas:
1. Business Growth (find product-market fit, GTM strategy, scale sales & marketing),
2. Fundraising (story, strategy, approach).
3. CEO Coach (make sharper decisions, avoid pitfalls, trusted confidant – it’s lonely at the top),
I specialize in building product businesses leveraging high growth, new frontier technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, augmented reality, blockchain, drones, Internet of Things, et. al.
I’ve worked 35 years in tech, including 7 tech startups (3x exits, 2x ongoing, 2x founder, 2x CEO, 3x 5,000% growth), and corporate management experience at Microsoft, IBM, Lotus, and Procter & Gamble. I have very intentionally worked cross-functionally in Engineering, Sales, Professional Services, and Marketing in numerous industries from manufacturing to finance to transportation to consumer goods.
I’ve also intentionally worked globally throughout the US, Europe (Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden), and Asia (Singapore, Hong Kong). With Australian, Indian, Irish, and Scottish heritage, born in London (EU citizen) and raised in the US, I like to think of myself as a “global citizen”.
I earned my MBA from UCLA Anderson, International Business Diploma from the Stockholm School of Economics, and BS in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI).
I live in San Francisco with my wife and two boys. I volunteered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for 15 years where I also coached hundreds of triathletes, and proudly had 100% race completion rate of my starting triathletes while I was head coach. Besides triathlon (Ironman and coach), I also enjoy golf (college varsity), self-actualization, travel, nutrition, dogs, photography, and people.
